Certain color combinations are said not to work at all. Like black and brown. Or red and pink (although I personally love that one!). Black and blue also are a combo where lots of people shook their heads and rather leave their hands off. I’ve always combined these two, and I think they go together really well!_MG_8781

In this super casual outfit, I’m wearing my beloved Zara high-waist belted pants (bought them earlier this year, nice option here) and a T-Shirt from COS made of softly shimmering cotton._MG_8796

On my feet: my new-ins, black leather Espadrilles from Maypol. They are made from super soft leather and are hand-crafted in Spain. I’m totally stoked about them and thinking about getting a second pair, although I also like the designs from Lika Mimika, also a Spanish brand that’s hand-crafting their shoes in the south of Spain. To me, Espadrilles are just the epitome of summer shoes, so even though the weather didn’t really play along these last days, by wearing them I still retained a little summer-y feeling.

Since these last days haven’t been the most glorious version of summer, I also wore my leather jacket from Urban Code. I’ve worn it so much over the last few years, and the leather is so soft and thin it’s already ripped in one or two places, so I might have to replace it sooner or later. Here’s another, slightly more „biker“ jacket from Urban Code. _MG_8770

What do you think, are black and blue a good match?!
