Oh boy. This really wasn’t my week. I had to stay in bed because I got a terrible cold. (Now that’s where I start to lament, wait for it:) My head felt like there was someone constantly hammering on the inside, my throat was so soar I couldn’t talk and even drinking or eating did quite hurt, and from all the lying around I’m sure you can imagine how my back feels… I was supposed to go to Berlin, as I am starting an exciting new job in December, but I had to cancel that as I was too sick 😦 And tomorrow, I’m supposed to have an early Christmas Dinner with a group of girlfriends. We do that every year in a different location, and this year we’re going to eat at Motto, and afterwards head to If Dogs Run Free for some drinks. I hope I’ll be fit enough to participate as I’m so looking forward to spending an evening together, since half of us are currently living in Vienna and the other half in Graz and we don’t get to see each other every couple of days anymore like we used to. At least I want to make it to dinner so please keep your fingers crossed for me…
Due to my bad condition, this week was a sad one for the blog as well. I was planning on posting some christmas gift suggestions and a recipe, but again, I didn’t make it. At least I wanted to show you an outfit, something I honestly just put on this morning to shoot some pics and quickly head to the pharmacy (and for the pharmacy, I would have forgone the whole make-up thing tbh), then I went straight back to bed. I think I look a little pale on the pics but hey, I did my best to conceal my red nose and overall tired look 😉 I opted for my go-to uniform on such cold days, consisting of a chunky knit, woolen coat, cashmere scarf and beanie. I usually never go out without a scarf in winter, but last Saturday I was out & about in Vienna all afternoon and evening and – right, you guessed it – no scarf far and wide. And last Friday, I ended up getting soaking wet as I was heading to our apartment in Vienna and didn’t have an umbrella on me (as usual…) so I guess all that played a major part in me getting sick. At least I get to show you my new Céline Pull On sneakers, I got them super reduced (obviously, the regular price is ridiculous in my book) and love wearing them, they are overly comfy and the sole is quite thick so you can wear them when it’s cold outside. I also love to add some lambskin inlays to keep my feet nice and warm 🙂
The coat is from H&M Trend (already worn here), as is the jumper (already worn in this post). Cashmere beanie and scarf are from COS, and if you want to make sure one of these cosy fellas is going to accompany you this winter, head over to their site as today, it’s Black Friday and COS offers you 20% on all knitwear! The jeans are old and from Zara, and the bag is the Mini Mac from Rebecca Minkoff.
Alright lovelies, take care and enjoy your Friday, on Sunday there will be a super cool Blogger „cooperation“ starting, so stay tuned!
