You guys, it feels like spring is finally here and I couldn’t be more happy about it (again, my obligatory weather comment but hey, I can’t really help it…). Yesterday at work, I’ve had lunch outside on our terrace with some colleagues and it was amazingly warm and sunny! So perfect weather to show someone the cold shoulder, right?
I’m not talking about being rude of course, this is about one of this spring’s biggest trends: the off-shoulder style! I love love love it, as it instantly gives me holiday feelings, and what better feeling than that? This top is on of the few off-shoulder ones I’ve already bought for this year’s spring and summer, it’s from H&M Trend, super soft and almost feels like silk. I especially like the wide and draped sleeves and of course, the color. Nude and blush hues are amongst my favorites. To me they always work, either paired with denim or leather or worn head-to-toe. I paired the off-shoulder blouse with simple grey skinny jeans from Zara (bought last year), my nude Valentino flats and latest addition to the bag family, the Clemence by Meli Melo. Makeup-wise, I tend to go with the less-is-more philosophy as it gets warmer. A little bronzer and blush, mascara and a creamy lipstick in beige or rosé and I’m good to go!
What do you guys think about the off-shoulder trend? Yay or nay?
